Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

CheaperLLM (cheaperllm.com) is operated by MR Enterprises LLC ("we", "us"). For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact support@cheaperllm.com.

2. What we collect

• Account data: email address, hashed API key, plan/tier, credit balance.
• Payment data: processed by Stripe; we store only a customer/subscription reference and billing status — not card numbers.
• Usage data: requests you make (model, tokens, cost, timestamp), and the content you submit (prompts, chat messages) and generate (images, videos) when you use history/gallery features — stored to provide those features to you.
• Technical data: IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention), request metadata.

We minimize what we collect and do not require a name, phone, or address to use the core service.

3. How we use it

To provide and bill the service, thread and store your conversations/generations for you, enforce rate limits and our Acceptable Use Policy, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with law, and communicate service and (with consent) marketing messages.

4. Sub-processors and model providers

To deliver AI and platform features, your requests are processed by third-party infrastructure and model providers. Categories of sub-processors:

• AI model providers — to generate the responses/images/video/embeddings you request.
• Payment processing — Stripe.
• Cloud/hosting — our server infrastructure provider.
• Email delivery — for transactional and (opt-in) marketing email.

We share only what's necessary to perform the service and do not sell your personal information. Material changes to processor categories are reflected here. Business customers can request the current named-subprocessor list by contacting support.

5. Your rights

Depending on your location (EU/EEA/UK under GDPR; California under CCPA/CPRA; and similar laws):

• Access / portability: export your data anytime via GET /v1/account/export (API) or by emailing support@cheaperllm.com.
• Deletion / erasure: delete your account and all associated data (key, ledger, usage logs, conversations, generations, media files) via DELETE /v1/account (API) or by request to support@cheaperllm.com. This is irreversible.
• Correction, restriction, objection, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising rights (CCPA).
• Do Not Sell/Share: we do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• Withdraw marketing consent anytime via the unsubscribe link.

We respond to verified requests within the timeframe the applicable law requires (e.g. 30 days GDPR, 45 days CCPA).

6. Data retention

• Account, credits, and content you save persist while your account is active, so your history/gallery works.
• Usage logs are retained for a limited period for billing, security, and abuse investigation, then pruned automatically.
• Dormant free accounts with no activity and no paid balance may be cleaned up after a defined inactivity period. Paying users' data is excluded from automated cleanup.
• On account deletion, your data is removed from our production systems. Residual encrypted backup copies are not restored for ordinary use and are removed as the applicable backup rotation expires.

7. Security

API keys are stored hashed. Payments run through Stripe (PCI-DSS). Access to production data is restricted. Traffic is served over TLS. No system is perfectly secure; we work to protect your data and will notify you of a breach as required by law.

8. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than yours, including where our providers operate. Where applicable, we rely on provider contractual commitments and legally recognized transfer safeguards.

9. Children

The service is not directed to children under 16 (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We'll post changes here with a new effective date and, for material changes, provide notice.
